What are your thoughts on the 2013 season?
Overall, I thought the 2013 season went pretty good. I saw some positive things done with the officiating. For example, it seemed like when the rules were blatantly broken, there was a penalty enforced this year, which in years past there has been lack of enforcement. On the other hand, I feel like there was a lack of tech before and after the races, which I believe was noticed by the racers. It was also nice to see the crowd attendance up for 2013, but I feel like the car counts were down.
What was the highlight of your 2013 racing season?
Obviously besides winning the championship, the highlight of my season was capturing fast time for qualifying 6 times.
Did any one event or person change the outcome of your season?
Not Really. I believe the outcome of the season was due to consistency, patience, a knowledgeable and dedicated crew, and racers luck.
What will you be doing in the off season?
Trying to find something to do! There’s no racing, and it’s too cold to go camping. . . So I will probably tinker on the car and watch football.
What do you hope to accomplish next season?
I would like to defend my championship. But mainly just come out and try to win races and have fun doing it.
