When you talk to Jaylee, it's hard to believe she is 6 years old. She can spiritedly recall her family's birth dates better than most adults. Jaylee is the daughter of Angie and Jason Bird. TWIN FALLS, ID (Tuesday, May 15th, 2012) – Horsepower Heaven at Rocky Mountain Raceway included the ASA Pro Trucks as part of the oval track action. Defending series Champion Jerry Rice did his part making sure the fans got to see an action packed race. Rice started 12th in the field and made his way to the lead on lap twenty-eight of the forty lap main event. The combination of his main event win, passing points and heat race points propelled Rice into the season point standings lead. Continue reading
There are some noticeable changes for the Sprint Car class at Rocky Mountain Raceways in 2012 that many are talking about around the water cooler at work.
For starters, the group is no longer running under United States Auto Club (USAC) rules, as they have for the past twelve years.
However, the biggest change for the 2012 season is the fact that the wings have returned atop these magnificent machines.
These changes took much homework on the part of RMR officials and teams alike during the off-season. And thus far, it appears to be working. Continue reading
