Members of ChamberWest Women in Business and local racers delivered school supplies to Kearns Jr. High on Wednesday, October 12.

“We have been donating and volunteering for Kearns Jr. High since last October. In November, we were able to donate over $200 worth of school supplies and hygiene items, plus cash that went to the homeless families for shoes and other Christmas items,” says Asenath Horton, Chair of the ChamberWest Women in Business.

The school supplies were collected at the August ChamberWest Women in Business luncheon “Build Your Community to Build Your Business,” where Kearns Jr. High’s award-winning principle, Kandace Barber, spoke about the importance of enriching the local community.
