Youth Participant Policy
Effective March 1, 2013
Requirements to Participate in a PERMANENT Waiver:
- Parental Consent Waiver
- Parental Acknowledgment Signature Form
- Birth Certificate
- Parent’s State ID/Driver’s License
*Both Birth Parents are required to sign the Parental Consent Waiver and the Parental Acknowledgment Signature Form. A Death Certificate must accompany the above, if necessary.
*Once a Permanent Waiver is filed with RMR, it is in effect until the Minor turns 18 years old.
Permanent Waivers should be completed in the main office during the week. A photo will be taken of the Minor and an ID badge will be made. This ID Badge is required to gain Restricted Area Access at all events and must accompany the minor at all times. A new ID Badge will be made every year. Please see the main office prior to each race season to get your new badge.
Criteria for a One-Parent Waiver:
- Must have the Minor’s Birth Certificate
- One Birth Parent must be on RMR property to sign the Parental Consent Waiver.
- The signing Birth Parent’s State ID/Driver’s License
*The One-Parent Waiver is only valid for ONE (1) event per race season.
Super Oval: Any age with a completed Minor File. Must be accompanied by an adult at all times and must wear ID Badge at all times while in Restricted Areas. Drivers: 16 & 17 years of age. 14 & 15 year olds will be allowed to participate in the Hornet, Midget and Pro Race Truck classes only after they complete the ASA Evaluation portion of the Young Driver Resume Process. They must be a member of ASA and must complete an interview with the General Manager and Oval Track Manager.
Drag: Any age with a completed Minor File. Drivers: 8 years old and above.
MX: Only Riders will be allowed in the restricted areas. Must be 4 years of age and older with a completed Minor File to ride.
