Rocky Mountain Raceways is under the influence of Mother
Nature when it comes to racing. People may see dark
clouds and rainy conditions, but there still may be
racing at RMR. However, it is up to the discretion of
RMR Management to declare the races cancelled. If you
are curious about the status of racing on an event day,
you may call the RMR office at (801) 252-9557.
A race will be cancelled due to rain when it is
clear that the track cannot be dried in time to continue
racing. We are dedicated to the safety of the
participants, and when weather interferes, the races
will be cancelled. Although the weather may clear up
close to opening times, keep in mind that several hours
of practice and qualifying have already been forfeited
due to weather.
RMR will do everything within its power to attempt to
dry the tracks to continue an event. However in the
situations where the race must be cancelled please
retain your ticket stub. If it is a paid ticket it can
be redeemed at the ticket booth to a future event of
equal or lesser value.
An event may be considered completed at the halfway
point of an event. In the case that RMR management does
decide to call the event as complete, rain checks will
not be given. |
